Get to Know our CEO!

Updated: Apr 15, 2021

Welcome to Joe’s Health Hut, we are so excited to introduce our new website and Instagram account! We believe that health is your wealth and number 1 priority in life. Our CEO, Joe himself, started this company from the ground up in hopes that he can make a lasting impact on thousands of individuals in the surrounding community. Our Public Relations writer sat down and talked to Joe about the company and his journey to creating one of the very few holistic health stores in the Midwest!

Q: What led you to starting your own business? The economy is struggling right now and start-ups for small business’ rarely ever succeed. What is your difference?

A: The company really started in college, although I never actually did anything to progress it while in school. The idea came to me my Junior year and after talking to my sister about the possibility of us running a business together, it became a very real possibility.

My Uncle bought a restaurant when he was in his 30’s and never looked back. At family gatherings I would talk extensively about what it took to run a restaurant and I admired him for all the hard work he puts in day in and day out.

I started this company during the pandemic for one reason…health is your wealth. COVID has made it extremely difficult for everyday people to maintain a healthy diet and pursue healthy habits that cannot only help your immune system [to fight COVID] but live a life of wellness. Our bodies are amazing, and lot of people don’t treat them as such.

Q: What separates you from other coffee/supplement stores?

A: There are many differences, but most notably our dedication to being plastic free and getting all our products from sustainable sources. From our coffee to our homemade greens powders we treat the surrounding environment around us with respect in hopes that we can set a precedent for other businesses around us.

Q: The business is relatively small right now, but the future is unpredictable. Where do you see this business in 5 years?

A: My vision for this company is to transform not only the community but create a health and wellness center for everybody. Ideally create enough space for yoga/meditation, massage therapy, aromatherapy, counseling, and even unique practices like acupuncture. While that may seem unrealistic right now, I believe that our social media/online presence will bring in people from all walks of life to better themselves on the journey we are all on right now.
