With spring quickly approaching, we’ve started to change our menu with lighter more refreshing foods such as acai bowls and our famous Honey-arugula grilled chicken salad. The change from winter to spring is always a tough one that’s why we’re offering BOGO smoothies every Friday for the next 2 months!
On top of that we also have very exciting news for an upcoming event in March. We’ve partnered with Will County Humane Society and are helping sponsor a 5k race to help raise money and awareness for their shelter. They are Will County’s only non-kill shelter and have helped so many different families in the area. More importantly they have helped thousands of suffering dogs and cats by finding them a new happy healthy life.
Paw-a-thon 5k Race: Event Details
What: 5k Paw-a-thon that helps support your local community and local animal shelter. There will be a raffle with numerous prizes donated from other local businesses around the area. The raffle will take place once everyone has completed the race.
Where: Right outside Joe’s Health Hut! We have mapped out a 3.5-mile loop that will bring you back to the store.
When: March 16th at 10 am
Who: Anyone can sign up! While it is listed as a race, we already have plenty of people who just plan on walking. We also highly encourage to bring your pets to the event! There will be plenty of opportunities to connect with others in the surrounding community and take you fair share of pictures with all the pets.
Cost: Registration is $30 per Adult and $15 for kids. All proceeds are going to Will County Humane Society. You can pre-register to make sure you have a spot secured or register on-site. We recommend you register as soon as possible given we have limited capacity.
